The Dental Implant Process
There are three main steps involved in getting your dental implants. If you’re considering overdentures, the steps are similar, but slightly different
1) Consultation
The process starts with you coming in to Big Horn Dental Clinic for a 50% Off implant consultation. Dr. Lee and Dr. Nichols will examine your teeth and the bone structure supporting your teeth to determine the best treatment plan to meet your needs.
At this time, Dr. Lee and Dr. Nichols will be able to better determine how much your dental implant procedure will cost. You’ll have the opportunity to work with our staff and your insurance company to figure out financing and payment options.
When you choose to move forward with the procedure, you will schedule a time for surgery at our office in Gillette.
2) Dental Implant Procedure Phase I
Your surgery will take just one day. You will receive implants and temporary artificial teeth that are attached to the implants. These artificial teeth will work, feel and look just like your own teeth.
3) Dental Implant Procedure Phase II
After a period of a few months, your implants have healed and bonded to the jawbone. The temporary artificial crowns are removed and are replaced with custom permanent teeth.
