All on 4 Implants
What is All-On-4?
The All on Four dental implant procedure provides you with a permanent same-day replacement for your entire set of upper or lower teeth.
The All-On-4 implant procedure differs from a typical implant procedure in that with single implants, you need a separate titanium implant and crown for each missing tooth. With All-On-4, you can restore your entire set of teeth (upper or lower) with just 4 implants – and the procedure is completed in just one day.
The All-On-4 Implant Surgical Procedure
The All-On-4 surgical procedure involves the use of just four titanium implants to secure a full arch of 12 teeth. The implants are anchored into the jaw bone creating a very strong bond that actually helps to prevent further bone loss.
The surgical procedure is considered minor, and you’ll have your complete smile restored in just one day with a set of temporary teeth which are attached to the implants. There are two phases to the procedure:
All-On-4 Phase I
During this phase, any remaining teeth are extracted and removed. Dental implants are placed and a temporary bridge is attached to the dental implants.
All-On-4 Phase II
Phase II occurs after the implants have had a chance to completely heal and bond to the bone. At this time, the temporary bridge is replaced by a permanent, customized bridge that meets your specifications.
Are All-On-4 Implants Right for You?
All on Four May Be Best for You If Either of the Following Apply to You:
- You have significant tooth loss on either the upper or lower set of teeth
